The Commonwealth of Massachusetts Middle Level Educators (COMMLE) is the
Massachusetts state-wide middle level organization devoted to supporting
middle level education. An affiliate of the National Middle School
Association (NMSA) and the New England League of Middle Schools (NELMS),
COMMLE advocates for middle level education by sponsoring professional
development activites and lobbying for policies and legislation that support
the goals of Turning Points 2000.

The Connecticut Association of Schools represents over 1,000
member public and private elementary, middle and high schools
in Connecticut. CAS provides:
- professional development for principals and teachers
- training programs for student leaders
- recognition programs for scholars and student artists
- teacher, school and administrator of the year recognition
- publications including the monthly "Bulletin," the middle school
journal "Impact," and timely monographs and position papers
CAS also works closely with other state, regional and national
associations to provide leadership for and promote the welfare
of Connecticut schools and their students

MAMLE, Maine Association for Middle Level Education, is the professional
association of teachers, administrators, and parents who have joined together
to support the development of quality programs which serve the needs of young
adolescents. MAMLE exists to promote a better understanding of middle grades
education in our state. It is a source of ideas, information, and support.

NHAMLE Newsletter new
NHAMLE (The New Hampshire Association of Middle Level Education)
is a non profit organization offering a variety of services to
middle level educators in the Granite State. Recent focus has
been on building relations with state policy makers and the NH
Department of Education to ensure a powerful voice for middle
level educators and students on state education matters. Other
activities include the popular fall TriState and Annual
Conferences, the spring Scholar Leader Awards dinners and various
regional networking meetings. NHAMLE partners and collaborates
with the New England League of Middle Schools on many activities
and events.

The Vermont Association for Middle Level Education (VAMLE) is an affiliate
of the National Middle School Association (NMSA) and works in cooperation
with the New England League of Middle Schools, also an affiliate of NMSA.
The purpose of VAMLE is to support, encourage, and inspire middle level
educators to develop programs and practices designed specifically around the
needs of early adolescents, with the focus on learning for every student and
a strong student voice.

National Middle School Association which is located in
Columbus, Ohio is the only national/international association dedicated to
middle level education. NMSA has over 30,000 members and 57 affiliate organizations
throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia. Each year NMSA
holds an annual conference that draws over 9,000 middle level educators.
