We will develop a NELMS Mind Games teacher resource. First, we'll review 25 mind games illustrating human strengths and limitations presented by the workshop organizer. Workshop participants will then lead their favorite mind game(s). We'll conclude by selecting, documenting and endorsing content for new resources for the NELMS website.

Presenter Bio

Dr. Shapiro is a speaker and consultant in human thinking and learning, career development, education, ergonomics, human factors, leadership development and learning. He earned his PhD in psychology form Ohio State University. He is a Fellow in the American Psychological Association, the Eastern Psychological Association (EPA), and the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES). During his tenure at IBM he was a technical employee, manager, and corporate staff member focusing on user experience and learning. He has also taught at the college level and presents programs to businesses, academic institutions conferences and conventions. Ron's TV Game Show style Education by Entertainment programs are applicable, easy to remember, educational, entertaining, useful and a ton of fun.
