This is New England League of Middle School’s 3rd annual leadership learning event for middle school students. NELMS will once again bring together education and leadership experts, along with community partners dedicated to middle level students, to provide an innovative and hands-on day of leadership workshops and activities. Students will engage in learning centered around key leadership skills in:

  • EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION: Students will engage in activities centered around the importance of strong communication and active listening skills in a team success.
  • TEAM BUILDING: Strong leaders understand that Together Everyone Achieves More, and that collaboration is key to being a strong leader. Students will participate in games, challenges, and workshops to help build their overall team, as well as to develop how to recognize and adapt to include all the individual skills that team members bring to the group.
  • GOAL SETTING & ORGANIZATION: Students will engage in activities to help them assess their schools needs and to develop an action plan to help them make positive change and contributions to their school communities


The registration fee is $225 per team of 4 students and 1 advisor/administrator for NELMS Member Schools; $275 for non-member schools.
Event runs from 8:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
